90 Day Warranty

Crazy Skates Company offers a Warranty for a period of ninety (90) days after retail purchase, against material defects and workmanship. This Warranty is subject to some Terms & Conditions. Any claim on Warranty must be accompanied with your proof of purchase (please keep your original receipt).

Is it a MINOR or MAJOR fault?

The decision as to whether the problem is minor or major is a determination that can only be made by the Crazy Skates Company . This decision cannot be made by any other third party. The repair, replacement or refund of the product is the decision of the Crazy Skate Company based on that determination.

When the problem is minor, Crazy Skates Company as the supplier can choose between providing a repair or offering a replacement or a refund.
If the claim for warranty is determined not to be a major fault and can be repaired within a reasonable timeframe, the consumer cannot reject the goods nor can they demand a refund under Australian Consumer Law. If the consumer feels that t he determination of the product fault is not considered minor, then further information about consumer rights are available at: www.consumerlaw.gov.au

Crazy Skates may choose to:
(a) provide a Refind;
(b) Replace the product; or
(c) Repair the product.

When the problem/fault is determined to be major, Crazy Skates will offer a full refund or exchange of the product of the same type/style/size. All delivery and return cartage for the replacement process will be the responsibility of the Crazy Skate Company.

What your Warranty DOES NOT Cover

1. Damage as a result of weather. These skates are not designed for all weather conditions. They should always be used on a dry surface and keep away from extreme sun, wind, rain and humidity.
2. These skates are designed to work a certain way. Adjustments made to these skates that alter their performance (including non-genuine parts) will void the Warranty.
3. Misuse or mistreatment of your skates.
4. Normal and reasonable wear and tear of your skates and parts.
5. Size your skates correctly. Incorrectly fitted skates can alter performance and reduce the life of your skates.
6. This equipment is designed to be used on a smooth surface only. Any warranty claim may be voided if used on uneven surfaces including rough or moist terrain.

Change of Mind

Consumer Guarantees

Under the Australian Consumer Law, you have guaranteed legal rights for goods and services you purchase. These are called consumer guarantees.

All goods sold in Australia come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

There are nine consumer guarantees that apply to goods you purchase:

  1. Acceptable quality.
  2. Fit for a particular purpose
  3. Match description
  4. Match the sample or demonstration model
  5. Express warranties will be honoured
  6. Spare parts and repair facilities will be available for a reasonable time after purchase
  7. Title to the goods
  8. Undisturbed possession of the goods

Consumer guarantees cannot be excluded and are in addition to any extended warranty you purchase or any voluntary warranty (warranty against defects) you are given. There may be circumstances where you are not entitled to a remedy. For further information about the Australian Consumer Law and consumer guarantees, visit www.consumerlaw.gov.au.
